General Motors confirms smaller trucks are on the way, Chrysler 300 may get a diesel and Toyota returning to Formula One.

New mid-size GM trucks could arrive by late 2014 In a report from The Detroit Free Press, General Motors North America President Mark Reuss confirmed the U.S. automaker would launch a pair of Chevrolet and GMC branded mid-size pickups in late-2014 for the 2015 model year. GM is in the throes of launching a new-generation of full-size Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks this year. But Reuss thinks GM can grab market share with the new mid-size trucks from the likes of the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier.
